An award-winning short awareness film on microplastics funded by Merck, The Journey takes the viewer on an immersive voyage from the perspective of a microplastic particle, shedding light on its pervasive presence in our bodies and ecosystems.

​

This project involved crafting a series of intricate miniature tabletop worlds and sets, employing special effects mastery in collaboration with Machine Shop SFX, and embracing a fair bit of camera wizardry.  We even braved some brisk days out on the Kent coast in December!

 

The challenge was as epic as it was exciting, especially when working to scale each scene from the microplastic’s unique point of view.Collaborating with an incredible team of creatives, our goal was to tell a story that resonates on both a personal and emotional level.
