'OZONE' |  PROJECT FIFTY

A collaboration with photographer Ted Humble Smith.  Fifty is a project to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the MacRobert Award, one of the UK’s most prestigious awards for engineering excellence and commercial success. The project needed to show the key innovation behind each winner in a new and engaging light.

Artistic Interpretation:  1993 - ICI KLEA - For the process and production technology for manufacturing the ozone - benign refrigerant KLEA 134

For this project, Emma created a 3d hand painted sphere, her interpretation of the earth from above and then another larger sphere made out of ice wax, the rest of the image-making magic came on set between Emma and long time collaborator Ted.

​

Exhibited at the National Science & Media Museum.
