Flora Borealis is a botanical and light experiment that continues Emma Winter's exploration into experimental image-making. Created using discarded botanicals from a prior production, this sculpture revealed entirely different miniature worlds as it rotated on its suspension. The work embodies a playful re-imagining of natural phenomena, achieved through in-camera special effect techniques, resulting in a final image that merges light, form, and movement.
